After the loss of a tenant, Robert Manhardt took over his first hotel in Gersthofen overnight. The first point of contact with the hotel industry ensured the start of the Sonnenhof hotels a few years later.April 2005

Sonnenhof Pension

Robert Manhardt and his wife Martina open their own guesthouse with 26 rooms in Retterschen, a hill near Kressbronn on Lake Constance. The pension was the starting point for the later opening of the first Sonnenhof on Lake Constance.October 2008

Sonnenhof Hotel

Opening of the Bodensee Hotel Sonnenhof. An old villa is given new splendor and the first Sonnenhof Hotel in a panoramic location on Lake Constance is opened. The pension, which will be continued and integrated into the hotel offer, is located in the immediate vicinity of the new hotel.July 2010

Dependence Lindau

The Sonnenhof on Lake Constance is growing again. Also in the immediate vicinity of the existing hotel and guesthouse, the Lindau extension is celebrating its opening.
